I'm Bringing Bloggy Back

Thursday, October 31, 2013

Hi, my name's Becca.  Have we met?  I know, it has been awhile.  In case your forgot, this is me:

I still have a great husband, Steve and two fun kiddos, Cian and Isla.  My life is still pretty imperfect and too hectic.  (Guess that is why it took me ten months to blog.)  This is the reader's digest synopsis of the current George family:

Steve:

"The ole hubbs" as I like to call him. (Seriously people, how do I keep a husband?)  Steve almost single-handedly packed up our entire house before we moved a couple months ago.  (Yes, we moved.  More on that soon.)  He is a saint and spends a lot of time with the kids while I have meetings for Modern Vintage.  He does this with minimal bitching.

Steve likes long walks on the beach and pina coladas.  Also, getting caught in the rain.  No really, he is still into video games and we have recently added a Game of Thrones addiction to the mix.

Cian:
Oh to be five years old.  Lot's of things, like bedtime and eating veggies, are unfair.  He is a fun, wild little guy who loves ninjas, superheros, Star Wars and pretty much anything that fights bad guys.  Sometimes the bad guys get the good guys down but the good guys always get up.

The other day I watched Cian get dressed in a long sleeved shirt that was tangled up completely by himself.  For some reason the moment struck me as I realized my little man is growing up.  He will be in Kindergarten next year and I can not believe it.  There is no way I almost have a Kindergartner in the house, right??

Isla:
Where do I begin with miss spunk.  She is independent and must pick out her own clothes, just like her brother.  She is fearless and will go down big slides and ride ponies all by herself. She loves to dance and likes all things girly.  Minnie and Dora top the current list.  She likes to eat salad but not so much carrots.  "Cake cake" is a favorite.  (Me too sister, me too.)

Isla talks like crazy and loves her big "blower" as she says brother.  Cian loves her a lot too and is currently a little upset that he can't marry his sister.  I have a feeling he will get over that one day!

Becca:

I am working on eating clean and not doing so hot some days.  Wedding and party planning is still happening and running/exercise is keeping me sane.  (I is also keeping those cupcake binges curbed.)

I am excited to be documenting our life once again!  I hope you will come along for the ride.
